CR Reynolds are proud of the recently completed works at Queens Gardens which reopened to the public today.
This landmark project has delivered extensive improvements to ensure the space can be enjoyed for decades to come. The revitalised gardens now offer enhanced landscaping and planting, improved accessibility, and a more welcoming environment for relaxation and large-scale events.
Hundreds of new trees have been planted as part of a reimagined landscape designed to thrive throughout every season, significantly boosting biodiversity.
Sustainable features, including rain gardens, have also been introduced to improve surface water management.
Accessibility has been a key focus, with new steps, ramps, and pathways carefully integrated across the site. Boundary walls have been rebuilt, new street furniture installed, and upgraded infrastructure delivered to support large-scale events.
A newly created Peace Garden provides a calm and reflective space for visitors, adding another meaningful dimension to the gardens.
