Hull Model Railway Society

Hull Model Railway Society Model Railway Club in Hull and the surrounding area. Founded in 1948 and is one of the longest established Model Railway Clubs in the country.

It can claim a continuous history of a strong and enthusiastic membership with an open door policy of welcoming anyone interested in the construction and operation of model railways. For more details of the history of the club see the history section. Currently club layouts range from 'N' gauge through to 'O' gauge via 'TT', 'OO', 'EM' and P4, including a narrow gauge interest. Our aims are to fos

ter interest in the construction, operation and exhibition of model railways and wherever possible, to provide facilities to achieve these aims. Additionally we try to provide an open forum for the exchange of information, ideas and opinions amongst our members on all aspects of model and prototype railways. Over the years the Society has sustained a membership in the region of seventy people from Hull and the surrounding area, a sure indication of the Society's popularity.
