I was so happy with today’s results and saved the poor pigeon which had got stuck down Charlottes chimney. 😃 I love it when it’s a happy ending.

I’ve been delivering fire safety leaflets over the last few weeks to try and educate everyone on how important it is to get your chimney swept once a year.

Talking to people as we have walked around, we have heard comments such as ‘I’ve got a log burner with a lined chimney so I don’t need a chimney sweep’, or ‘I sweep it myself’.

All chimneys, including open fires, log burners, Aga’s, Rayburn’s etc can have a chimney fire if not maintained properly and not getting a qualified chimney sweep to carry out the work will invalidate your home insurance should you be unlucky enough to have a chimney fire.

We are a qualified member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps and available to help at short notice if needed.
