🚧 Hornsea Project Completion – Dual Driveway Installation 🚧

We’re proud to showcase the successful completion of two full driveway constructions on the same street in Hornsea—an opportunity that doesn’t come around often. Each project was tailored to the client’s requirements, resulting in two distinct finishes that both enhance usability, improve access, and help reduce on-street congestion.

Paved Driveway Installation
• Full excavation and installation of a durable hardcore sub-base with concrete footings
• Construction of new concrete block retaining walls
• Installation of 600 x 900 concrete paving slabs, laid on a full sand and cement bed for longevity
• Fence posts installed, ready for customer fencing

Tarmac Driveway Installation
• Excavation and installation of a 200mm Type 3 sub-base, fully compacted
• Charcoal brick sett border for a clean, defined finish
• New timber fencing with concrete posts
• Timber cladding applied to existing block wall
• Finished with 60mm 20mm open graded binder course and 25mm 6mm wearing course tarmac

🚗 Both properties now benefit from newly installed dropped kerb vehicle access, completed in line with ERYC highways specifications. All required permits were secured and works were formally approved by the area engineer.

🚛 Over 80 tonnes of material were removed from site along with all other aggregates brought in using our in-house haulage capabilities, ensuring efficiency from start to finish.

🚧 Walkington – Driveway Resurfacing Completed

We recently completed a full tarmac resurfacing project for a returning customer in Walkington, transforming an old and worn driveway into a clean, durable finish.

-Removal and disposal of the existing surface
-Regrading to achieve correct levels and depth
-Installation of new kerb edging
- Application of: 60mm 20mm Binder Course & 25mm 6mm Wearing Course

The result is a smooth, long-lasting surface that enhances both the appearance and functionality of the property.

Hornsea Project – Tarmac Surfacing Completion

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of 95m² of tarmac surfacing to a shared access and parking area in Hornsea.

All preparation works were carried out by Multiworks Building Services enabling a smooth and efficient installation process.

The surfacing works were completed using:
• 60mm of 20mm open graded binder course
• 25mm of 6mm open graded surface course

All materials were supplied by Newlay Asphalt Ltd and delivered using our in-house haulage fleet, ensuring quality control and timely ex*****on throughout.

The finished result provides a durable, practical, and accessible space for future residents of the holiday lets, managed by Mereandstrand

Brough – Watercourse Bank Stabilisation Project

We recently completed essential stabilisation works along a watercourse in Brough, where significant bank erosion had created a hazardous environment for users of this well-frequented public footpath.

Our scope of works included:
• Careful excavation of the affected area and removal of all debris
• Installation of a durable hardcore sub-base
• Placement of underwater concrete-filled bagwork and topsoil-filled MSE bagwork supplied by SoluForm
• Backfilling with free-draining 40mm clean hardcore and finishing with topsoil
• Installation of new timber post and rail fencing to enhance safety and accessibility

This project has successfully restored the integrity of the bank while ensuring a safer route for the local community.

Beverley – Bike Shelter Installation

We are pleased to share the successful completion of a bike shelter installation project in Beverley.

The works included:
• Excavation to a depth of 250mm
• Installation and compaction of 150mm Type 1 sub-base
• Pouring of a C30 concrete slab
• Supply and installation of the new bike shelter thanks to Lockit Safe
