Working with LIVE material will mean that each item we produce will differ in some way.

These are some of our Christmas Baubles made out of Pine. Though we are testing our new machine at the moment, all of these are done at the same settings.

Depending on how deep the engrave and the direction of the grain, will determine the overall appearance of the final product.

I do love a deep engrave as for me the details become more pronounced. However, in doing so, this means that the grain will be harder to work with.

For now though, enjoy some "work in progress" which are part of our "Pine Creations" items, as we finalise the settings, material thickness and whether or not these will feature a full deep, ultra festive engrave!

With Christmas not too far away, we have been busy today, ensuring that we're ahead of the curve that is the crazy festive rush! We had so much fun making these! To add, they still need to be glued, stained and sealed :)

We wish we could bottle the scent of freshly milled Pine from our workshop. However, the next best thing is freshly milled Pine wood shavings (NOT dust), used as packaging filler, which is not only environmentally friendly, BUT, when you open your order, its as if you're in the shop with us.

They say that "freshly baked bread sells houses", well wait until you smell freshly milled Pine!

To add, these products are not finished and have a little work left before being sent to their forever home :)

Busy Day!

Currently working on finalising a few product designs. These are made using responsibly sourced timber which the finish thickness and sizes was milled in our workshop.

There are a lot of exciting things coming 2026!

Nice little Friday job, restoration on a pine 3 draw piece for someone we know. Update pictures will be posted later :)

Amongst other projects today we repaired a rabbit hide house 🐇🐇🐇

The materials in which we used were all reclaimed which means we prevented the timber in this small project from going into our landfill!

In other news, this rabbit hide house isn't for a rabbit, but a cat which loves to 'hide' with her furry friends when the run is left open. We're sure she'll be pleased with somewhere to go once the British weather kicks in 🤣
