Traditional Lake District barns saved from dereliction thanks to new grant
A Lake District barn in Longsleddale is amongst the first in the country to benefit from a pilot grant to sensitively repair the building for continued agricultural use and to preserve the appearance of the surrounding cultural landscape.

Something a bit different for us! An oak walkway across the reed beds to the boathouse. Approximately 130 meters long, posts, rails and decking all in green oak.

As His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, today unveiled a special installation to mark the National Park’s World Heritage inscription, he hailed future opportunities for the Lakes.

Beautiful morning working literally on Lake Windermere.

A look back at the cropped and sawn blue lakeland walling stone used to face the Gatehouse at Glaxo, Ulverston. As well as the stonework T A Law Ltd carried out the full masonry package, including the blockwork and rendering.
