Ten 47 was formed in 2001 to fill a niche in the interconnect market. It is our philosophy to offer high quality innovative products at cost effective prices. To enable us to do this we have formed partnerships with customers and suppliers around the world. Many of our products have been derived from solving customer problems. In specialising a few chosen markets we are able to understand and anti

cipate our customer needs and work with our partners to provide new solutions. Step by step we are expanding and developing our product and services offering to provide more and more value to our customers. In 2012 we opened Cableguard Europe Ltd to manufacture cable protection systems in response to growing demand from customers. In 2014 Cableguard was merged into Ten 47

Ten 47 products have been used in many prestigious projects including many FIFA World Cups, Olympic games, Heathrow Terminal 5, the on board train throughout the UK's East Coast Main Line to name just a few. With our well proven track record we hope we can be of assistance to you.

We are excited that we will once again be exhibiting with sister company Lex Products at the upcoming Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt. We had such a great time connecting with customers and industry experts last year post covid, and can't wait to do it all over again.

A large batch of our Powerline QC connector assemblies, packed and shipped out to another satisfied customer!

Our Powerline assemblies are built using premium grade Nexans TITANEX® heavy duty flexible rubber HO7 RNF cable from 25mm2 to 300mm2 and can be supplied with colour coded or pre-printed heat shrink for identification.

With bulk stock to build of connectors and cables we provide a fast turnaround service for quick and reliable delivery.

We all had a great afternoon at our annual Family Summer Event at Cluny Activities on Friday.

Our team activities included Archery, Segways, Rifle Shooting and Disc Golf and it did get a little competitive at times!

It was great to see everyone together for the first time since our last event in 2019.

Ten 47 was very sad to hear of the death of Walter Chalmers on the 18th of February. Walter was the Engineer at Veam Scotland who designed the original Powerlock series connectors which is now an entertainment industry standard. Walter was also named as an inventor of the US patent for the secondary locking system on the Powerlock connectors.

He worked very closely with some of the team at Ten 47 during our days together at Veam, particularly Eric Cooke who is now retired but also Douglas Fury retired too, Gordon McDonald and Keith Gordon. Walter would come to visit every so often and we met up for lunch not long before the pandemic. He was an engineer in the interconnection industry for many years having previously worked for Ferranti. The results of his work are still in use around the world today.
