Office Extension Done 🔨 ✅

The team at K Wallace Joinery are proud to showcase another project we have recently completed.

Something a little different from our usual work but nonetheless a project we were delighted to undertake.

The client are expanding their workforce and require extra office space at their unit to accommodate this expansion. We were tasked to erect a new office space including a small private meeting room within the unit and create a new walkway into the existing office, combing them both into one. We also glazed the existing staff room to allow more natural light into the room and created a new walkway directly into the kitchen area.

Again we would like to thank our subcontractor team for the quality of workmanship. 🤝

Long time, no speak! 😮

Well, it has been sometime since our last post, our team here at KWJ have been working non-stop on different developments between Kinross, Edinburgh and East Calder. These developments are getting close to completion and will be looking to show case this in due course. 📸

Today however, I have the pleasure of highlighting the exciting development we have in the Barnton area of Edinburgh. Barnton Park View, situated in a highly desirable residential area of Edinburgh, around 5 miles west of the city centre, offers quick and easy access to the city while being conveniently placed to access transport links to the Queensferry Crossing, Central Motorway Network and the city by-pass.

Job Complete ✅

Here we had a customer looking to revamp the decking in the back garden ready for Scotland's beautiful summer....well, you never know!

This required the previous decking to be completely removed for new framing to be built to allow maximum strength and fixing on the new composite decking, with additional features like built in planters, full length steps plus wind blocks!

Anyway, please take a look at the before and afters, completely customised to the customers specifications!

Project Completed ✅

Monday seen the final touching up to a project we are proud to showcase to you today.

This work was carried out in Dunfermline on the High Street, situated inside a well known local electrical goods business. The shop owner decided to utilise the unused upper floor of the shop and wanted KWJ to turn these into flats, which we happily obliged.

One flat being a two bedroom and the other a single bedroom, perfect for someone looking to get on the market for the first time or downsizing!

With the modern interior these flats have a perfect finish, keeping with current trends you will find a mixture of white and grey through out. Oak entrance doors into the flats also give the exterior a great eye catching feature, complimented well with the brick wall 🧱

Skylights were also installed to allow more natural light into these flats 💡

🔨 Kirkcaldy Development 🔨

The team here at KWJ have been working extremely hard over the last few months and are proud to be able to show you a more up to date, near finished article of the exterior down at Ostlere Road. All that remains to be done now is the groundworks and we will have a fantastic looking property on the market 🤩

My last post on this development was merely a timber kit and some bad weather, fast forward a couple months, we have a beautiful looking home and still bad weather...🤷‍♂️

Anyway! The team are working on the internals and I should have some pictures to showcase in the coming weeks 👌

One property has been SOLD, the other still remains available, so be QUICK! It's been a while since our last post, the closing off the year seen a very busy period for us here at KWJ.

We hope everyone had a good Christmas and wish everyone a Happy New Year!

We completed a couple projects just before breaking off over the festive period and I am proud to showcase this to you today.

This project was an extension which we carried out to a property across in Edinburgh. An extension like this brings extra life to your home, benefiting from an open plan living area that also utilises natural light with the use of two sky lights and a 3 pane sliding door.
