Industrial Storage Facility Nearing Completion in St Helens 🏗️

Another steel building project is making great progress in St Helens, with the structure now really taking shape.

The side and end wall cladding is almost complete, with just the gutters and flashings left to install before this project reaches completion.

Blackpool Industrial Development - Progress Update 🏗️

Earlier this year, we began work on an exciting industrial development in Blackpool, comprising three purpose-built storage units for a first-time Wareing Buildings client.

With Buildings 1 and 2 now complete, work is progressing on the final phase - Building 3.

This latest building is the largest of the three, marking the final stage of this impressive development.

Mezzanine Floor Installation Underway in the Ribble Valley! 🚧

Work is well underway on the installation of a bespoke mezzanine floor for a valued customer in the Ribble Valley, providing much-needed additional storage space and making better use of the available floor area.

Mezzanine floor dimensions:
📏 6.1m long × 23m wide × 2.4m high to the underside of the floor

Key features include:
• 22mm thick chipboard floor decking supported on pressed steel galvanised C-sections at maximum 400mm centres
• Steel central staircase complete with tubular handrails

⭐️ DATE FOR YOUR DIARY! ⭐️

We are very excited to let you know that the wait is nearly over! 🙌

In July last year, Wareing Buildings were proud to support one of the BBC’s DIY SOS projects in Freckleton. Before work began on site, we offered our support to the team, and early in the build, we received an urgent call asking if we could supply steel at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

Without hesitation, our team sprang into action, and thanks to a quick turnaround, Wareing Buildings were soon on the road, delivering the materials needed to keep the project on track.

Following completion of the project, Sales Director Simon Tickle had the honour of representing Wareing Buildings at the family reveal day. It was a fantastic turnout of high-vis jackets, hard hats and plenty of smiles! 💙

The proposed air date for the DIY SOS Freckleton episode is Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 8pm on BBC One! 📺

The new series will begin on Tuesday 22 September 2026, airing weekly and comprising six episodes in total.

As always, BBC scheduling is subject to change, but if anything does alter, we will endeavour to keep you updated here.

🚧 Project Update – Agricultural Grain Store in Maghull 🌾

We are delighted to share an update on this 140ft × 80ft agricultural kit building in Maghull, being delivered for one of our valued long-standing customers.

The project is really taking shape, with the roof, side and end cladding now complete, and the precast concrete panels installed.

Just the finishing touches to go!

The remaining works include the installation of the doors and final flashings, before this impressive grain store is complete and ready for use.

⭐️ 12.5° roof pitch
⭐️ Open-sided lean-to for implement storage: 140ft × 20ft, falling from 22ft to 17ft
