This is a great example of why we advise that you should get your chimney swept every year. 😲

Not only will this cause a poor draw on the chimney and reduce stove performance, but it also has massive potential for a chimney fire.

".......but i only use it in winter, and only at night"

It doesn't matter! With our "winter", we can have the fires in use from late August, right round to late April, and depending on the fuel you use and how hot you run it, your stove or open fire needs a service at least once a year to prevent a build up like we have here.

Calling all customers 🤩

As the days getting longer and we begin to use our fires less, its easy to forget about the servicing and maintenance of them and leave it until the autumn. This can be a hectic time of year for me, because if my head isn't up a chimney, I'm either swimming/biking/running in preparation for my second favourite passion, triathlon. This September, I'm competing for team GB at the Age Group Triathlon World Triathlon Championships in Spain, therfore, I'd like to try and spread my busy Autumn workload throughout the year to allow me time to train and focus for this huge event.
If you usually have your chimney swept, or stove serviced later in the year, why not look to have it done this Spring or Summer? 🙏 You'd be helping me out massively! And who knows, it might even help me bring home the gold this year. 🥇🏆
