So ants are very prolific this year, and this is my go to for a typical call out.
Apply a slow acting insecticidal gel which they harvest and take back to the nest to carry out maximum destruction.

Well everyday is a school day.
I have never come across wasps using an old nest, I have seen wasps raid last years nests for protein from grubs that never made it, but never seen a new nest being built on top of an existing nest.

This was a gas tank and as you can imagine when the lid was opened the tanker driver got a bit of a shock, legged it and the rest is history.

Love this job, every day you come across nature at its best, appreciate wasps haves vital role to play, but not when at the cost of ordinary folks just going about their daily job.

The spiralling and crippling cost of running a small business who relies on a vehicle to produce all the business income.

It’s wrong that we pay fuel duty and then VAT, double tax should be illegal.
But its not just about our business, this effects everyone who relies on any vehicle in day to day life.
It’s pushing up the prices of everything we consume or need on a daily basis, it’s also crippling for those who live rurally.

This petition highlights the true burden and unfairness, I’m calling for fuel duty to be halved & for fuel to be VAT exempt.

I started a similar petition 4 years ago and it recieved over 84,000 signatures.
I’m hoping this will draw a lot more attention and at least have the question pushed to the forefront of this government.

Back when I made the tongue n’ cheek fuel flap sticker, I could fill the van from empty’ish for about £86.
This was just over the 1/4 tank…….😥

Never mind Hatton Garden or the great train robbery, wouldn’t be surprised if Tankers with fuel are the next high value targets to get robbed…….

I started this journey of self employment 5 1/2years ago, I set out to do an honest and fair job for clients.
The company has absorbed the rising costs of Covid and then the subsequent rise in the costs of living incurred by the Ukraine conflict.

Now we have the effects of the Iran war, everything has been effected in our day today living: fuel, energy, food, produce to daily consumable’s.

As of next week the company unfortunately will be raising its prices for contractual services and domestic job work and our working week will be cut to 4 working days for the time being, commercial clients will still receive 24/7 cover.

Rising costs of living affects us all, but unfortunately it hits small businesses the most.
