Picture frame panelling taking shape 👌

A full run of traditional picture frame panelling and dado rail fitted throughout the downstairs hallway, up the staircase and continuing onto the landing. Plenty of measuring, mitres and awkward little details to keep everything flowing nicely around the space.

All ready for filling, finishing and decorating now — really looking forward to seeing the finished product once it’s painted! 🔨

New oak door fitted 🚪🪵

A lovely upgrade with a new glazed oak door, complete with a brand-new oak door frame and matching oak architrave to give the whole doorway a clean, consistent finish.

Finished off with Jigtech handles and latch system — really impressed with how neat and seamless the fittings sit within the door. 👌

A simple change that’s made a massive difference to the space.

🛠️ Hallway Floor Replacement & Structural Repairs

This project involved the complete removal of a rotten suspended hallway floor before rebuilding it with new structural timbers. The work included removing the existing floor, installing a new steel beam to provide structural support for the staircase and floor, fitting new treated timber joists and structural flooring, rebuilding the under-stairs stud wall, and installing a new access door to the under-stairs storage.

Another solid, long-lasting repair completed and ready for the next stage of renovation.

🪵 Bespoke Living Room Storage

This project involved designing and building a pair of bespoke living room cabinets with matching floating shelves to create practical storage and a modern focal point. Each cabinet was built with oak-effect interiors, custom shaker-style doors, solid oak worktops and integrated cable management, before being finished with decorative acoustic panelling behind the TV.

Designed to make the most of the available space while providing a clean, seamless finish that complements the rest of the room.

🛠️ A Few Small Projects Completed

Not every job is a full renovation. Sometimes it’s the smaller projects that make all the difference. Recent work has included fitting a bespoke glazed internal screen, replacing staircase newel posts and handrails, along with a variety of other carpentry repairs and improvements to help keep homes looking their best.

This project transformed an old brick flower bed into a modern timber planter, creating a clean and attractive feature for the garden. The existing planter was removed before constructing a new pressure-treated timber planter, filling it with fresh topsoil, and planting a selection of colourful flowers to complete the transformation.

A simple project that makes a big difference to the overall appearance of the garden.
