Project: Surface dressing Ulverstone 🚧

Once again M. Miller was deployed to undertake surface dressing for another contractor 🤝

Work was carried out as follows 📝

•Driveway was cleaned via excavator and waste was taken from site ♻️

•Crushed asphalt planings was supplied and laid to level any potholes and low points rolled to compact and consolidate 🛼

•Once prepared the complete area was surface dressed with a K1-70 hot bitumen and granite washed chipping applied 🪨

•All work was rolled to compact and consolidate and areas was left clean and tidy 👌

Project: Carlisle resin patio 📍

M. Miller was contracted in by another company to prepare and resin domestic patio area 🤝

The project was undertaken as follows:

A pre prepared patio which unfortunately did not meet our satisfaction so we removed the existing base and reinstalled a 10mm open texture tarmacadam to the average depth of 80mm ⚫

A cobble style stone set and aluminium bead was supplied and laid in strategic locations to enhance aesthetic and performance 🛠️

A alpine resin blend was supplied and laid to the average depth of 20mm and in some areas reaching 30mm to ensure long lasting performance ✅

⭐ A very happy customer with a stunning finish ⭐

Projects: Surface Dressing Dunfermline 🚧

Two more pieces of our very sought after surface dressing with our really aesthetically pleasing 6mm hardstone washed chipping 🪨

One of these properties we have maintained the road surface for over 45 years with our company working for the previous two households 😲

Once again the projects was undertaken as follows 🦾

Mechanically swept and cleaned 🧹

Potholes and low points was patched and made level ⚫

A complete machine laid surface was produced via our 2 in 1 HGV bitumen sprayer and aggregate spreader and still boasting our hard wearing K1-70 liquid bitumen 🚛⚫

Two very happy customer's provided with a professional, personal service at a reasonable costing and featuring a fantastic 5 year guarantee ⭐

Project: EWM Kingmoor Carlisle 🚧🚨

Edinburgh Woolen Mill got in-touch regarding pothole problematic areas, theirs only one solution ✅

Potholes was cut out and waste removed ✅

Areas was then tack coated with liquid bitumen ✅

Areas was then surfaced with 10mm SMA (Stone mastic asphalt) ✅

The complete area was surface dressed with hot bitumen and hardstone chipping ✅

Benefits include sealing new and previous repairs 🛣️

Areas are reunified aesthetically no more patch quilt surfaces 🩹

Natural finish no industrial black tarmac ⚫

Skid Resistance stone texture 🪨

Cost effective nature, completing larger areas at a fraction of the cost 💸

Project: Coniston Hall Farm Park 🚧

This is a repeat customer who chose ourselves to repair and surface dress the road eight years previously 🤝

After a very good performance of our repair and the customers up most satisfaction the roads have since been put up and maintained to the highest standard with this return custom ✅

Fortunately this time round we was limited to only repairing 3 potholes over 6000 square metres 😯 nevertheless we conducted a complete surface 🛣️

•Grass edging was reshaped and the road surface was cleaned 🧹

•The potholes and low points was cut out and reinstated with a 10mm bitumen wearing course ⚫

•Pre surface dressing patching was conducted using a K1-70 hot bitumen shortly followed by a 10mm hard stone chipping applied and compacted by road roller 🪨

•Once prepared the full area of 6000 square metres was covered by a K1-70 hot bitumen shortly followed by a 6mm hard stone chipping which was machine laid and power rolled 🛣️

Project: Hawick 🚧🚨

Through our internet presence we was contacted to quote for a resurfacing project on Long hope Drive for two domestic households requiring a complete resurface ⚫

We arranged to visit at a mutually convenient time we then conducted a survey and sent a written quotation 📝 Wich quickly accepted ✅

M. Millers team got to work 👷🔨

•Old tar was excavated by hand and was disposed of appropriately in a licensed tip 🚛

•Good hardcore was present this was leveled and compacted by a vibrating roller and edges finished with a compaction plate making sure a even consolidated level was reached 🪨

•We then installed 6 inch concrete flat top pin kerbs Wich was installed in cement haunch to define the drive from the council footpath and also install new 600x600 D400 waste inspection chambers ✅

•Once prepared a 10mm bitumen wearing course was supplied and laid to the average depth of 80mm rolled to compact and consolidate ⚫

•Joint was sealed with hot pour bitumen and waste was removed from site areas left clean and tidy 🏡

Another contract complete two delighted households 🤝

Middleton project 🚧

After a successful repair at Belford Hall this customer was very impressed and wanted a similar approach.

•The whole area was mechanically swept 🧹

•Potholes was cut out and reinstated with a 10mm bitumen wearing course ⚫

•Pre surface dressing patching was undertaken to further level any cracks low points 🕳️

•Once prepared the whole area was double coated with a K1-70 hot bitumen shortly followed by 6-10mm hard stone chipping applied and compacted 🪨

No more industrial looking black tarmac ⚫

Smoother safer roads at a fraction of the cost of resurfacing and still keeping in with aesthetics of these beautiful property's 🏡
