Good morning everyone!
I've been quiet on here as I have been very busy with work. Nearly 2 years of going non stop and I now have some space in my calendar in the following weeks. Happy to quote and discuss any carpentry work both inside and out. Feel free to pop me a message and we can go from there!

What a great summer it's been, minus the odd bit of rain here or there!
We have been working on lots of different projects, inside and out. From building bespoke interiors for my clients to helping create healing spaces. Our work here at Raven Claw is diverse and customer focused, building to your specifications and needs.

It's been a few weeks since my last post and what an interesting few weeks! Cupboards, skirting, doors and floors..and a few new fancy products that look pretty darn good if I might say so!

What a great week! Started off by finally putting my hand to the earth temple at The Healing Tree Centre what an absolute privilege to be part of something so sacred.

Following on from that I spent the next few days continuing an ongoing shed project.

Now off for a long weekend in Glastonbury. Have a good weekend all!

As another week draws to a close I can't help but reflect on my fortune to do something I love! Started the week finishing fitting and painting a new door, followed by fitting glazing bars to pre-existing windows and restoring the Georgian feel to this lovely thatched cottage.

I finished the week working on the staircase with raw wood rail and spindles by splitting hazel shoots and starting to weave them. It'll look amazing once it's completed. I can't wait for next week to jump back on it!

Been a busy couple of weeks. I'm loving the handrail and spindles, it's a bit trickier to work with natural timber but my god does it look good! I've also rehung an oak door to open outwards and over the weekend I made a couple of small crates for storage at home. Lovely job!

I've been making good progress with the stairs this week and am really happy with how it's coming on.
I also did a small repair job on a door and the frame.

I also treated myself to a very lovely axe for some bare-bones carpentry!

Bank holidays are a good time for DIY or so I've heard. After re-doing the bathroom at home I absolutely refused to get one of those thin plastic bath panels and decided to make my own with additional storage under the bath. Ideal!
(We're yet to decide on handles!)
