I was trying to think of something clever for this Garforth job, not the usual crude posts you see with this type of thing.

So I'll settle with something simple.... Another old cast iron stack taken down and replaced with a maintenance free plastic one.

Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue that does it 🤪

So someone thought a toilet pan connector under the floor to connect two soil pipes together was a good idea 🤔

It wasn't, it leaked....

I'm not going to lie, this was a particularly dirty job made worse by poor access and heat.

All sorted now thankfully, and the bathroom is back to normal.

All of the taps, plugs, radiator and shower screen were black and looking tired despite not being very old.

Black is the worst colour in bathroom.

I replaced everything for chrome and had the radiator sent off for powder coating.

I was super impressed by this Brita filter tap.

The build quality of the tap was excellent and it has its own dedicated filter on its own supply, making the filter last longer.

The filter sits nicely under the sink, pics to follow when I pop back for something else.

I'm so proud to say that Sarah completed the Marathon in five Hours twenty eight seconds yesterday. An absolutely incredible achievement for her and everyone that ran it.
