A recent exterior project at Borrage Hall, Ripon. 👨‍🎨

The timber windows had ongoing knot bleed issues after being prepared incorrectly in the past. To tackle the problem properly, we drilled out the affected knot holes, applied knotting solution, then repaired them with Repair Care before carrying out the full repaint.

As part of the project, we also redecorated all the fascias, soffits and fall pipes around the property, along with the windows and doors on the two bungalows within the grounds, all finished in a fresh white.

Quality preparation is what makes the difference and helps achieve a long-lasting finish. ✅

✨ Entrance Canopy Restoration – Sweet Squared Ltd ✨

It was a pleasure to carry out this entrance refurbishment for Sweet Squared Ltd, getting everything ready for their 20th Anniversary celebrations.

The entrance canopy had started to show signs of rust and weathering, so we carried out extensive preparation, removing all loose paint and corrosion before treating the affected areas and applying a durable protective coating.

We also refreshed the entrance doors and window frames using Bedec Multi Surface Paint, giving the whole entrance a clean, modern appearance.

• Johnstone’s Trade MDS Smooth Metal Paint – RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey (canopy)
• Bedec Multi Surface Paint – Anthracite (doors & window frames)

Another fantastic commercial transformation completed by the ACP Decorating team at Unilever Leeds. 👏

This project involved completely refreshing a tired industrial workspace, delivering a brighter, cleaner and more professional environment.

Scope of works:
🎨 Preparation and painting of breeze block walls using Johnstone’s Trade Durable Matt Brilliant White.
🦺 Application of a Johnstone’s Trade 2-Part Water Based Epoxy Floor Coating, providing a durable, hard-wearing finish suitable for heavy industrial use.
🚪 Doors and woodwork finished using Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Guard products for a tough, long-lasting finish.

🚨 WEEKEND OFFICE TRANSFORMATION 🚨

Another commercial project completed by ACP Decorating Ltd for Solutions 23 Limited in Rotherham.

Our team of painters worked throughout the weekend to refresh the office space, ensuring there was zero disruption to staff and day-to-day operations during the working week.

Full home transformation completed recently in Leeds ✔️

This project included a full redecoration throughout the living room, staircase, landing and kitchen, combining soft colour drenching with feature wallpapering and detailed finishing work throughout the home.

The customer wanted a warm, seamless feel in the living room, using soft neutral tones across the walls, woodwork and doors to create a calm, modern space that works perfectly with the herringbone flooring and natural light throughout the room.

The staircase and landing were also fully transformed:
✔️ Ceilings finished in Brilliant White
✔️ Walls and woodwork colour drenched throughout
✔️ Banister spindles painted white
✔️ Handrails and posts finished in a bold deep red feature colour

The contrast between the softer wall tones and darker woodwork really helps the staircase stand out while still keeping the overall look clean and modern.

To complete the project, we wallpapered the kitchen walls using a detailed botanical print which tied everything together perfectly and added a completely different feel to the space.

As always, extra care was taken throughout using Q1 flooring protection to fully protect the customer’s recently fitted flooring while works were carried out.

Preparation work was completed using Mirka dustless sanding systems to help keep the property as clean and dust free as possible throughout the project.

All decorating work was finished using Johnstone’s Trade products to achieve a durable, high-quality finish throughout the home. 👌

Big transformation completed in Leeds for ACP Decorating Ltd 🔥🎨

This one needed a lot of work before we even got near the finishing stages — blown render, peeling paint, and unstable areas across the whole property.

We fully stripped back all failed coatings, stabilised the surface, carried out all necessary repairs, and built everything back up to match the original render.

Finished off with a fresh, clean exterior coating and a sharp two-tone finish to really bring the property back to life 👌
