Bathroom Floor Replacement – A Job That Went Much Further Than Expected 🛁🔨

Another bathroom transformation completed by TPS Building Services - What started as a straightforward bathroom floor replacement quickly became a much bigger project once we uncovered the true extent of the damage.
After lifting the existing floor, we discovered that the floor and surrounding structure had been heavily soaked, with rotten joists and a failed subfloor foundation wall. Rather than simply covering the problem, we stripped everything back and rebuilt it properly from the ground up.

🔨 Works carried out included:
• Rebuilt the damaged subfloor foundation wall
• Replaced and strengthened the affected joists
• Fully insulated the floor
• Installed new structural floor boarding
• Installed a new underfloor heating system
• Fully retiled the bathroom floor
• Gave the existing bath panel a complete new look.

Another job where doing it properly from the foundations up makes all the difference. 💪

This exterior has had a full refresh! Transforming a tired, rough pebble dash render into a smooth, warm cream finish that completely lifts the look of the property. The new colour pairs beautifully with the green windows, creating a clean, classic contrast that really stands out without being overpowering.
