I started out working in Swarcliffe and I’ve done a bit since and I have to say, it is the hardest place to replace fencing as the original stuff was done so well. Many are still around almost 50 years later!!

Another week in Tansor.
Back n sides ripped up and new grip-sure decking installed onto plastic posts, subframe and joists.
Heavy, hot week!!

So I went National last week and completed the first stint of a “wrap around” deck on a cottage just outside of Peterborough.
Gradient issues, plastic bearers, anti-slip decking and a little head scratching but it went well over the 4.5 days.
Wonderful people, food, surroundings and great for my cell biology.

Another bombproof Millboard deck. Enhanced grain oak this time.
Concreted concrete pillars, C24 (waterproofed/treated engrains).
This one was a bit of battle with the sudden weather change & a dicky shoulder & knee.

Another crazy, sturdy Millboard deck with my niche, misshapen balustrade.
Concrete pillars, tanalised C24, damp proofed and re-treated to ensue that the chipped wood stays durable.
Vintage oak Millboard…lasts forever….
Tanalised timber could last 30 years with care.
I make decks that stay. The Millboard is not cheap and this took me 3 weeks but I know they’re worth every penny👍🏻

Oh, also, a soak away 👊🏻
