They wanted two things. A home that looked better from the outside and felt warmer on the inside.

We stripped everything back, fitted insulation and breathable membrane behind, re-timbered throughout and finished with Swish anthracite shiplap.

In 30 years we’ve seen a lot. But this one was something else.

This flat roof didn’t just have one failing layer underneath it - it had three. Felt at the bottom. Chipping stones on top of that. Then a tin roof over the lot. Layer upon layer of previous work that had been covered up rather than dealt with properly.

And while we were there we found the fascias and soffits had been overcladded too - new plastic fitted straight over rotten timber. When we stripped it back the wood underneath was rotten throughout.

We stripped everything back completely. Brand new flat roof installed properly. Fascias and soffits fully replaced with all the rotten timber removed.

Done to a proper standard. The way it should have been done the first time.
