It’s been a good week here at Mrs K’s — lots of orders being prepped, made and heading out the door! 📦✨

BUT… it’s also been a long overdue opportunity to have a good clearout of my workshop! 😂

I’ve had a proper sort through and whittled (pardon the pun 😉) my supplies down. I had A LOT of certain things that were just taking up space!

Rather than letting them gather (saw!!)dust, I’ve been repurposing, reimagining and giving them a whole new lease of life — with the hope that lots of them will find their way into new homes/classrooms!

And if a bargain is your thing, you’re going to want to keep an eye on this…

🍂 I don’t mind admitting I’m usually a bit bummed out by autumn coming. I think it’s partly the end of summer and my childreb going back to school (I’m definitely not a “glad they’re back at school) kinda mum)

BUT… I’ve actually really enjoyed seeing these gorgeous little hedgehogs again this week 🦔🤎

Two sets have headed out this week, made from my favourite wood — beech 🌳

It’s so smooth and beautiful to work with, and I really hope you love them when they arrive as much as I’ve loved making them xx

🌳 WORKSHOP CLEAR-OUT – PYROGRAPHY & CRAFT WOOD 🔥

I’ve had a proper clear-out inmy workshop and have loads of dry wood slices and blanks that I have surplus to requirements.

A lovely mix of hard & soft woods, different sizes, shapes, bark edges and natural grains — perfect for practising pyrography, wood burning, crafting or even making your own signs, resources and decorations.

And honestly… there are some really gorgeous pieces in there that deserve to be turned into something rather than sitting in my workshop! 😍

I’ll make sure each box has a good mixture of usable pieces rather than just filling it lots of the same, you will have loads to choosefrom.

🪵🪵 I’M BACK BABY! 🪵🪵

& i am actually raring to get back into my little business tomorrow! 😍

I spent quite a lot of time in school last year, so my two amazing friends had been helping keep things ticking over — and I’m SO ready to get stuck back in properly!

I’ve got loads of ideas bubbling away &my busy brain has definitely been working overtime over the summer 😅🧠🪵

First job will be catching up with all the orders that came in over the summer, so I’ll be spending the next few days getting those made and dispatched — including more of these gorgeous woodburned names! 🥰 I’ll also be making some new sets for 2 childminders. They’re fab for name recognition, self-registration and everyday learning, but also make such a lovely leavers gift or keepsake. ❤️

Once I’ve caught up, it’s time to get stuck into all the ideas that have been swirling around my head… 👀

I’m planning a super special Welcome Back Collection, with some one-off creations born from my busy summer brain! 😂🪵❤️

Sorry for the radio silence lately! 💚

I’ve been making the most of the summer with my kids, and it’s been so lovely to have some proper time together. ☀️🥰

But I’m getting excited to get back to Mrs K’s Treehouse! I’ve got lots of new ideas buzzing around and can’t wait to get stuck back in after what feels like a very long time away🌿✨
