Today’s task for Lewis and Nathan’s team was this mature Beech tree which had suffered significant stem failure creating a serious hazard. Using our MEWP we were able to safely dismantle the remaining tree in controlled sections, protecting the surrounding area and ensuring the work was carried out safley, efficiently and professionally.

Despite the challenging weather conditions today the teams got the jobs done, proud of the dedication and hard work from all our team’s today 🌳 👏

Great day out in Birmingham today processing trees that were felled back in March ahead of the bird nesting season 🌳

A huge thank you to the team for putting in a solid 12-hour shift on a Saturday to help us get on top of our current workload — your effort and commitment never go unnoticed.

In total, approximately 50 tonnes of material was processed today, turning what could be waste into manageable, reusable material.

Great service as usual from all at Global Machinery Solutions Ltd, especially Dean and Daniel who went the extra mile. We had this machine on demo a couple of weeks ago and it didn’t take long for us to make our mind up. Can’t wait to see this beast in action again 💪🏼

Another busy week wrapped up for the teams at George Walker Tree Care, finishing with a last-minute flurry of Friday afternoon call-outs, these trees all created an immediate safety risk.

Situations like this require a calm, experienced approach and careful planning to make the site safe while protecting nearby property and the public.

The team assessed the damage, secured the area, and carried out the work efficiently and safely, preventing what could have become a much more serious situation.

Back in March 2019, we carried out a heavy reduction on this mature Oak due to the presence of Pseudoinonotus dryadeus also known as the “Eiffel Tower” fungus

The tree responded exactly as we had hoped, showing strong recovery by July 2020 🌿

Today, we returned to carefully reduce additional weight from the canopy, helping to minimise stress on the weakened structure and prolong the life of this incredible Oak.

It’s always rewarding to take a long-term, sympathetic approach to tree care—working with nature to preserve these magnificent trees for years to come 🌳

🌳 Busy March in full swing! 🌳

The teams have been flat out this week. Today’s job involved a crane-assisted dismantle — lifting the top sections safely while our climber worked through the crown.

It’s a great example of how planning and teamwork keep large tree removals safe and efficient.
