Last week we asked, how many Brits do you think would try their hand at replacing a socket-outlet?

Well, our research has shown that almost half (48%) would give it a go without any prior experience or knowledge.

This is a worrying statistic, but the fact that the majority got the correct answer shows that contractors see this often and highlights the need to educate consumers to leave the electric work to the professionals.
