Woodworm inspection to a timber suspended floor, common furniture, beetle and some wood boring weevil 🪲🐛 have made home and destroyed the joist,it’s important to get access to the floor underneath and poke the timbers to ascertain what condition they’re in in this case chemical treatment is pointless and the floor should be replaced,always get a survey never just a quote, we are happy to help even if it’s just a survey you require please feel free to message text or call.

Job I’ve been working on.movement to the corner of the timber suspended floor,why ?,property had had some damp works done on a previous occasion but rather then disposing of the waste it was dumped under the floor surrounding the joist end,it didn’t stand a chance ,joist completely rotted, section of floor removed and repaired new air vent fitted to improve airflow,rubbish removed from site.

Property pulled on homebuyers report of lack of subfloor ventilation due to the original coal shoot being bricked up and others sealed up,4 new plastic lever air vents installed,  providing the timber floor with significant airflow  protecting the timbers from rots and woodworm infestation,if this is something you need or would like your original air vents replaced please feel free to call or txt 07966795881

Sunday call-out,client complaining and mushrooms 🍄‍🟫 growing out the ceiling, peziza fungus in fact as these thrive in damp conditions as it’s essential to find the moisture source, so lifted a couple of floorboards found nothing drilled a hole in the ceiling and poked my camera in and there it is a leak on the water pipes, clients advised to get the plumbing repaired as soon as possible, with a minor repair to the ceiling,pezizas arenot generally harmful to human health but does indicate significant damp issue,this is why a damp survey is always recommended.please feel to message\call 07966795881
