Thank you to all the plumbers who helped out, we made a good team. We've never had 10 rival plumbers complete one house before 😅 but we all got on great together and joined forces for a great cause. Chiswell Heating Limited are looking for an experienced and reliable gas safe engineer for domestic heating/boiler breakdown and servicing.

We are well established in Leicestershire and are now looking to grow. We are currently looking for someone to join the team. Would you like to come and work with a family run business with over 40 years experience in the trade. All our staff are treated as a person not a number. Could this be the opportunity for you?

Primary role will be to carry out boiler servicing , boiler and central heating repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate would have vast knowledge of Worcester and Baxi boilers. Must have a good knowledge on central heating systems and basic electrics with some knowledge of most boiler manufacturers and types (Natural Gas Only).

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
Immediate start available.
Our office / showroom is based in Thurmaston LE4 8AU.
Job Type: Flexible, Permanent
Salary: £37,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (Negotiable)

To be considered for this role as a Gas Engineer you must have the following:
ACS Gas Qualified with Qualifications in date with a minimum of 6 months left on the ticket. (CCN1,CKR1,HTR1,CEN1 & CPA1)
Own hand tools
UK Driving License.

The work will consist of the following:
• Servicing boilers (minor and major.) Including strip downs.
• Maintenance of boilers.
• Testing and commissioning.
• Heating issues. Motorised valve, pumps, water components.
• Changing electrical components. I.e. timers, programmers. Room thermostats.
• Our main focus is Worcester, Baxi, and Ideal boilers.
Landlords certificates (Cp12) .

In return the Gas Engineer will receive the following:
• 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
• Pension (can opt out if you wish)
• Company van inc fuel & insurance. (no personal use)
• Company mobile phone / tablet
• Power tools / specialist tools will be supplied. (Company owned)
• Training paid for
• Safety boots provided
• Company branded work wear polos and jacket.

We also offer Private Medical Insurance for you are any dependants.
