🏗️ Ongoing Project – Pollard Court

LTR Group are currently carrying out a full programme of remedial works to a block of 10 garages at Pollard Court, following recommendations within the surveyor’s report.

Scope of works includes:

• Removal and safe disposal of existing asbestos roof sheets
• New OSB roof decking
• New 3-layer torch-on mineral felt roofing system
• New fascia boards and guttering
• Installation of galvanised strengthening straps internally to reinforce the garage walls
• Full grind-out and repoint using sand and lime mortar with exposed aggregate, restoring strength and integrity to the existing masonry

A comprehensive project bringing these garages back up to standard and extending their serviceable life.

Another heritage project secured. 👊

LTR Group is proud to be restoring a Grade II listed building in St. Paul’s Square, Birmingham.

✅ 160m² of specialist DOFF paint removal
✅ Test patches complete
🚧 Now the real work begins, stripping away years of paint to reveal the original stone beneath.

Structural repair carried out to this window arch.

We raked out the existing joints and installed Helifix bars to reinforce the structure and prevent further movement.

Finished with lime mortar repointing using exposed aggregates to match the original and keep the building breathable.

This is the difference between a proper repair and a temporary patch.

Latest chimney restoration completed by the LTR Group🧱✨

This chimney had been failing for a number of years due to weathering and historic movement. Our team fully ground out the defective joints and repointed using 3.5 NHL lime and sand, allowing the brickwork to breathe naturally and remain flexible for decades to come.

Proud to have restored this chimney back to how it once looked nearly 100 years ago — sympathetic workmanship, traditional materials, and long-lasting results.
