This week was a week for both employers and employees to focus on wellbeing at work and work-life balance with it being national work life week 2023. As a company we believe that wellbeing at work is extremely important in having a happy working environment and staff members who really value the company, which is why this year we introduced a wellbeing scheme for our employees, with benefits such as; a wellbeing allowance to spend monthly on anything to benefit your wellbeing from gym memberships, to spa treatments, family days out etc, an allowance to spend in a selected restaurant each month to help employees to treat themselves and their families, and wellbeing days where you can take a paid day off to do something to benefit your wellbeing. We have also said we would allow staff additional paid days off to participate in charity work which may not only benefit your wellbeing, but also someone else in need.

Here is our latest update on our Cricketers Court project in Basildon.

In August we completed first fix plumbing and electrics , and closed the ceilings and walls in both blocks.

This month we will be preparing the walls for painting and starting the installation of the kitchens and joinery.

Here is our latest update on our Conder site in Epping.

The timber frame of the first terrace of houses is now complete, with two more terraces due to complete the timber frame very soon.

The block and beam floors have also been installed for each of the 3 apartment buildings and the steelwork is due to commence shortly.

As we look forward to the month ahead, you can expect to see first terrace of houses really taking shape, with the roofing, brickwork and window installation all progressing, along with progress internally.

We have just been awarded a top score of 45/45 for our latest considerate constructors scheme inspection at our Cricketers Court Site in Basildon.

Comments received include:

- The Registered activity ensures that the impact of works is kept to a minimum.

- Environmental procedures remain at a very high level.

- Welfare facilities are of high quality and are maintained to a high standard.

- The Site management ensure that site is kept clean and tidy at all times.
