Thanks to the low-life’s who broke in to my van I am continuing to work out of my loaned Viva (thanks to Finishline).
Still managed to fit a new boiler!
Thanks for offer of loan tools David Richards Ben Norman-smith and Mick Phillips. Much appreciated.
These thieves really do not take in to account the disruption caused by their actions. And who knows, they might be back when my van is repaired 🤷🏼‍♂️ What can we do to stop them?

Don’t forget to get those boilers serviced - you too could have a bat in there somewhere!!! A first for me, never found a bat before. This little fella had obviously been there a while as he was was a bit crispy…… ☹️🦇

One of my customers has no sense of smell and had a family member come round who could smell gas - good job they called me as there was a hole in the gas valve under the boiler! Replaced the valve and all good now.

Had to condemn this boiler today.
Dangerously high levels of carbon monoxide being produced. Gave a good clean to try and remedy it but nothing helped. Cut off from gas, warning label attached and will provide a quote for a new boiler.
A boiler service discovered this - could have been a very different outcome as there was not a CO alarm in the room with the boiler.

Some boiler installations definitely look better than others! This is not the best Iv'e seen.....
It is best practise to have a system filter on a new installation to filter out all the metal sludge that can block the system - This one has two filters for some reason?

Got some cold nights coming so, don't forget to get your boiler serviced. £75 for a service (normally) and peace of mind...
