We’re proud to hold an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for our Witton Fell sandstone, quarried exclusively by us here in the Yorkshire Dales.

An EPD is an independently verified way of showing a product’s environmental impact across its life cycle, from quarrying and processing through to transport, use and end of life. It gives customers, architects, contractors and specifiers reliable information when considering Witton Fell sandstone for a project.

As sustainability becomes increasingly important in construction, verified product information can also support environmental reporting and green building assessment schemes such as BREEAM.

For us, holding an EPD is about giving our customers additional confidence, further supporting the quality, durability and provenance people already expect from our stone. It is another way we can be transparent about our products and help you choose the stone that meets both the performance and sustainability needs of your project.
