As with all clients we will be looking to continue to Impress and deliver on our agreed programmes and expected standards of work.

The Leyland site is a full stage 2 external works package to 120+ plots .

The Preston site is a full package groundwork’s scheme for multiple units with an extensive Roads & Sewers / 278 works package.

JT Northwest Limited are currently seeking a Site Manger for an immediate start.

The Role

The role of Site Manager, reports to the Contracts Manager and is responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient and cost effective works at all times, while maintaining the highest quality of work and customer service are delivered within the given timescales.

Role accountabilities include:
* Manage the day to day running of the development sites and provide clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets
* Manage and implement health and safety procedures, working closely with JT Northwest ltd and Safety Managers and ensure that that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered too
* Motivate, support and manage directly employed site staff, providing toolbox talks, training, coaching, and support as required to improve performance
* Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times
* Fully conform to building regulations and warranty providers' requirements (NHBC)
* Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Contracts Manager and/or�Company Director as requested.
* Ensure that adequate site records are maintained including but not limited to Site Managers reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions and health and safety records
* Thoroughly inspect and ensure any remedial work is completed in advance of works completion

Qualifications and Training
* GCSE Maths and English - Grade C or above (or equivalent)
* Valid CSCS card at Site Manager level (or equivalent).
* Valid SMSTS certificate
* Valid First Aid certificate
* Construction Management - HNC Level 4, HND Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 is desirable
Skills and Aptitude
* Effective communication and listening skills
* Good administration skills
* Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
* Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

We're hiring!

JT (Northwest) Ltd is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team . This role involves managing groundworks externals packages consisting of kerbs, edgings, general civils, plot works,and landscaping works!

Responsibilities include reporting and working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager, site supervision and compliance with health and safety, keeping site diaries, amending and working to RAMS, quality assurance, managing labour and putting men to work, providing progress reports, managing materials, and overseeing plant and operations.

Requirements for this role include CSCS, SMSTS, first aid, experience in managing groundworks externals packages for specialist contractors, and 10+ years of management experience.
