After yesterday’s rain Summer is coming! 😎 In warmer weather if you choose to switch off your boiler completely or just switch to hot water only, you should always make sure to run your central heating for a few minutes once a month to keep the system in working order. If you don’t do this, you could find that your heating may not come on, or work as it should do when you come to use it in the Autumn.

By simply switching on your central heating once a month during summer, until your radiators begin to get warm, will prevent the pump and diverter valve which direct water around the heating system from seizing up.
