I received a phone call today saying that a 'handyman' family friend had tried to connect a washing machine but it keeps blowing the fuses. I went to investigate and as you can see from the picture all the connections and conductors are exposed so would of been touching inside the box and causing this problem. It's not actually the only other problem the 'handyman' cut the plug off the washing machine so that also cancels the warranty that the lady had bought incase of any problems.

Just want people to be careful when they think getting a 'handyman' would be cheaper than a skilled tradesman.

Cheapest isn't always best!
