Last year we delivered Sheridan House, a project for YMCA Lincolnshire that was commended recently as a finalist in the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Construction & Property Awards! 🏘️
Stirlin was appointed to create 16 independent apartments, expanding the vital housing provision provided by YMCA Lincolnshire and supporting adults experiencing homelessness across the region.
We are incredibly proud to have been part of a project that will make a meaningful and lasting difference within our community. Social value is embedded at the heart of what we do at Stirlin. 💙

This exciting scheme will create a new luxury retreat in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside, enhancing the park’s premium accommodation offering and providing guests with a unique place to relax and reconnect with nature.

📢 Hawthorne Field Update – Exciting Developments Ahead! 📢
You may have noticed some activity on our Hawthorne Field recently, and we’re pleased to officially confirm what’s happening here at Sherwood Forest Holiday Park.
We are currently preparing the land for an exciting new development that will see 22 brand-new holiday pods available for rental. These will include:

💑 Couples pods
♿ Accessible (disabled) pods
We’ve included the plans so you can see how the area will look once the project is complete 😊
🚧 Please note: From Monday, there will be ongoing works in and around this area. We kindly ask all visitors to be mindful while on site as we work to make the park even better and more exciting for 2026 and beyond.
We’re also delighted to welcome Stirlin, our approved contractor, who will be carrying out the work here at Sherwood Forest Holiday Park.

Stirlin Developments Limited was co-founded by James Kirby in 2007 to develop high specification commercial and residential property. Our first development, a 15,000 sq ft office building at Saxilby Enterprise Park, set the benchmark for the business and led to further development in the area with Stirlin Court.
In 2013 James became the sole Director of Stirlin Developments Limited and began the journey of establishing the company as one of Lincoln’s leading developers.
2017 marked a significant milestone for the company as we celebrated our 10th year in business. This anniversary also coincided with a change in how the company operates and the launch of our dedicated residential division; Homes by Stirlin. We now operate as a group of individual divisions, ranging from design to plumbing and heating to plant sales, hire and service, with our Senior Management Team developing and implementing strategic business plans to ensure the overall success of the business.
Our extensive experience allows us to undertake diverse projects, from large-scale design and build commercial buildings to new build homes and one-off dwellings.
We are committed to making our clients aspirations a reality and are able to offer a completely managed service, from design through to construction. Our design and development team work closely with clients to understand their requirements, turning their ideas into creative and accessible designs, and our construction team manage the works through to completion.
