From two empty alcoves to fitted storage, display shelving and a dedicated home-working space.

We designed, manufactured and installed this bespoke fitted furniture for a home in Lincoln, making use of the space on both sides of the existing chimney breast while keeping the proportions and detailing sympathetic to the room.

The lower cupboards provide enclosed storage, with adjustable shelving above and an integrated desk extending from the right-hand alcove.

Oak tops bring some natural warmth into the painted cabinetry, while Shaker-style doors and traditionally detailed cornices help the new furniture sit comfortably alongside the existing features of the property.

The cabinetry was manufactured using Finsa Hidrofugo moisture-resistant MDF, with oak veneered material and solid oak detailing, spray finished in our workshop and installed on site.

A good example of what bespoke fitted furniture can do with spaces that might otherwise be difficult to use.

A traditional stable door, built for modern use.
This bespoke stable door was manufactured in our Lincoln workshop from Accoya, spray finished in white and finished with black ironmongery from From The Anvil.
Stable doors are a great example of where bespoke joinery makes sense. The proportions, glazing, panels and ironmongery can all be designed around the property rather than being dictated by a standard-sized door.
Accoya gives us the stability and durability we want for external joinery, while the spray-applied Sayerlack paint system provides the clean, durable finish.

A few days ago we shared a sneak peek... now it's time for the full reveal.

This bespoke media unit was designed and manufactured to create a clean, contemporary focal point while providing practical storage and carefully integrated lighting throughout.

The five independently controlled lighting zones allow the atmosphere of the room to change depending on the occasion, while the natural oak slatted back panel, painted cabinetry and carefully considered detailing bring everything together into one seamless piece of fitted furniture.

Every project we produce is made to suit the individual home, ensuring the design, proportions and finish work perfectly within the space rather than relying on standard-sized furniture.

A first look at one of our latest bespoke media units…
This detail shot shows the contrast between the warm oak, acoustic slatted back panelling, integrated lighting and the bold painted finish.

**What a week… 🔥**

Busy. Exciting. And just a little bit warm… ☀️

With temperatures hitting **35°C**, we’ve definitely felt the heat this week!

But the workshop has stayed busy, the tools have kept moving, and we’ve had another great week of making, fitting and bringing some brilliant projects together.

Sometimes the best part of the job isn't in the workshop...
It's getting to work in some incredible locations across Lincolnshire.
This was today's view while working on site, and it's definitely one of those moments where you stop for a second and appreciate where the job has taken you.
We're back in the workshop next week, but for now we'll enjoy this one.

Restoring an Edwardian door here in Lincoln.

This original door is having the old plate glass carefully removed and replaced with modern safety glass, while keeping the character of the piece intact.

Some of the later modern mouldings will also be replaced with period-correct mouldings, made in-house to suit the age and style of the property.

It is the kind of work where the details matter. The aim is not to make it look new, but to restore it properly and keep it in keeping with the building.
