It has been a very busy few months for us at M R Joinery. We thought it was about time we posted a few of our latest projects.
We are almost completely booked up for this year but do still have capacity for a few smaller jobs and as always we like to plan and work with all our customers to ensure everything is perfect. If you have an urgent project please still get in touch we may still be able to help.
We have had two very different kitchen installations, one very modern and one traditional. A gorgeous dark blue small modern kitchen with matching splashback to walls.
The customer with the traditional kitchen didn't want integrated washing machine and dishwasher so we adapted the units and worktops to take the standard size appliances 🍽️😁
We have also completed 2 lovely bathrooms. One featuring wall and floor tiles and another using tile effect wall panels. Both look amazing. 🚿
I need to have a word with the hubby Mark Richards to make sure he remembers to take before photos.... 🤦‍♀️🤣

Had the pleasure of working on this kitchen for the last few weeks. The room needed a little TLC before the room was ready for the kitchen installation.

We had electrics to run in first as these were in surface mount conduit and added in some additional power points. We then had to dot and dab one wall and hard wall another to attempt to get walls level to existing before starting.

The before pictures are so different to the finished room, its hard to believe it is the same room. We hope they get to really enjoy this space now.

Well the last 4 weeks have been a busy one! We had the pleasure of being asked to design supply and install this beautiful for close friends.

They went for a black and white theme and we think it looks stunning! Our friends have great makes the bathroom look so much bigger.

Latest bathroom installation finished.

Once all the drainage had been rectified we installed waterproof thermal insulating construction boards to the walls and full tanked the area ready for installing fully waterproof shower panels.

The customer chose a corner opening shower and dark units with solid white marble effect worktop to compliment their bathroom.

Latest bathroom installation.

The customers bathroom was rather potent with drain smells. On removing the sink pedestal we found no waste trap on the sink and it was feeding straight into the toilet waste!

The shower also had no waste trap and was draining straight into the gully. There was also no soil vent pipe to the drainage externally. The customer had damp going through into the next bedroom as the walls where only covered with ply board straight on to block.
