How do you find out if your boiler is still under warranty?

You could dig out your install paperwork, check the benchmark book and find the model and serial number and the manufacturer can tell you if your boiler is still under warranty.

Come with us to Osbournby while James swaps out a leaking unvented cylinder.

This takes up most of the day: drain down the old cylinder, get the new one piped up neatly, then take our time checking everything’s working spot on before we pack up.

Hot water back on, no leaks, job done.

Every boiler we install = £25 donated to help fund free hospice care for local patients and families.

So far, together you’ve helped us raise £1,300 — thank you.

St Barnabas says £19.93 funds one hour of care in a patient’s own home, so that’s around 65 hours of Hospice at Home care supported.

Good news if you heat with oil 🔥

From 1 April, there's new support available. The government's Crisis and Resilience Fund is opening to help low-income households struggling with heating oil costs.

If you're on a tight budget and heating with oil, you may be eligible for financial support through your local council. This is a real lifeline for families feeling the squeeze.

How it works:
✅ Apply through your local council from 1 April
✅ Each council sets its own eligibility criteria
✅ Support is available until March 2029
✅ Covers heating oil and other fuel costs

If you're not sure whether you qualify, it's worth checking with your local authority—there's no harm in asking, and it could make a real difference to your bills.
