From April 2026 I will be offering professional chimney sweeping and stove maintenance as an add-on to my established joinery/carpentry business.

✔ Woodburner / Multi-fuel stove – £70
✔ Open fire – £85
✔ Power sweep (if required) – £95
✔ Second appliance at same address – £50

All sweeps include:
• Full clean
• Smoke/draw test
• Certificate on completion
• Property left clean and tidy

✔ Stove rope replacement – £60
✔ Stove glass replacement – £70 + glass cost (if non-standard)
✔ Baffle plate adjustment / replacement – £90–£120
✔ Air control service & clean – £40 (add-on)

Chimney & Fireplace Works

✔ Bird nest removal (simple) – £100
(Heavy/compacted nests priced after inspection)

✔ Register plate installation – £180–£250
✔ Minor fireback / brick repairs – from £120
✔ Visual flue inspection (non-CCTV) – £50

That’s a wrap for Christmas.
Tools down, last job finished……a lovely 17 year old piece of oak a customer had kept to one day turn into a mantel piece.

A genuine thank you to all customers old and new for the work, trust, and recommendations throughout the year — it’s appreciated more than you know.

We’ll be taking a break to rest up and spend time with family, and will be back in the New Year ready to crack on.

Tiny kitchen but same attention to detail

Another kitchen install. A little awkward this one as used some of the original kitchen & then added Howdens units & of course they’re different depths 🤦‍♂️
Also customer wanted the original island on wheels so made that work. All then painted in a lovely sage green with oak tops.

Happy New Year to all my wonderful customers. It’s been a great year & thank you. Longest running project was this, which I thoroughly enjoyed creating & finally seeing the pictures in use makes it worth all the hard work.
