🎆 Tinka's Top Tips for a Safe Bonfire Night! 🎇
Bonfire night is here, and we want everyone in our community to enjoy the spectacular displays safely. Here are three non-negotiable tips to keep in mind:
☝️The Golden Rule: Distance Matters! 🔥 Make sure your bonfire is built well away from sheds, fences, trees, and your house! For fireworks, stick to the safety instructions and viewing distances on the packaging - they are there for a reason!
✌️Sparklers are NOT toys: Sparklers bur incredibly hot. Teach children to hold them at arms length and always wear gloves. The moment they go out, plunge them into a bucket of water to prevent nasty burns from the hot wire.
🖖Be Prepared for the Unexpected: Have buckets of water, sand, or a garden hose nearby for bonfires, and a first-aid kits handy. If you're setting off fireworks, ensure a responsible adult is sober and in charge of the display.
🐶 And a very important tip - Please remember your neighbours' pets tonight if you're setting off fireworks. A little awareness and consideration can help keep them safe and reduce stress 🐶🐱
Overall stay safe and have a memorable evening! 🙂
