We have added some beautiful Magnetic Knife Blocks to our website over the last couple of weeks in: Black Oak, American Black Walnut, English Oak and Poplar. We’ve had a few requests for somewhere to store honing rods recently so a some feature a hole for this also. Let us know what you think!

Happy New Year! 🥂We just wanted to say a very belated thank you to all of you who have supported and shopped with us during the festive season- it has been quite incredible (and we are still recovering!) We are now taking a short break for January so that we can once again focus on working on our house renovation and move this forwards a little (give a follow if you don’t already!). Jamie also wants to use this time so that he can get fully set up in his new workshop ahead of accepting new orders. We will continue with pre-made orders during this time but no made to orders will commence until February. We will reopen the Made to Order service on our website from the last week of January so orders can be placed for this start date. Any outstanding orders will be completed before this date. We will see you all in February and wish you a fantastic start to 2026! 🙌🏻

CHRISTMAS EVENTS 🎄:

Wanting to shop from us in person? We will be at the following events over the next couple of weekends surrounded by lots of other incredible makers 🙌🏻:

➡️ Stanmer House 29th- 30th November 11am-4pm
➡️All Saints Hove 6th December 11am-5pm

These will be our only events leading into the festive period as Jamie will be hiding in his workshop from then until Christmas! We would love to see you there! 🎅🏼🎄 -

Skinner Designs finally has a permanent home! 🥂-

As many of you know I have taken the leap this year to take Skinner Designs full time and after 10 years in my parents garden, I have finally managed to take on my own unit. This has been such a dream for me for such a long time and I am so grateful to everyone who has placed an order with me over the years and ultimately got me to this point. I am so excited to see what the future brings and can’t wait to hopefully be able to take on some larger projects now! To all of you who have patiently waited for your orders during this transition period again I am truly grateful. What a year! 🙏🏻

It’s THAT time of year to talk about final order dates for Christmas! 🎅🏼 Without further ado:

➡️MADE TO ORDER BOARDS - must be placed by Saturday 6th December 🎁-
➡️ IN STOCK BOARDS/ PLANT STANDS/ KNIFE BLOCKS- Saturday 20th December-

Depending on how many orders we receive, we may bring the made to order date forward so please order sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Local delivery is possible beyond these dates. -

We have taken the difficult decision to CLOSE our Made to Order Service from NOW until JUNE 30th. -

We have been so overwhelmed by the level of recent orders and need a chance to catch up! Of course, any existing orders will still be completed and our Pre-Made service is still functioning. If you have any questions then please get in touch! 🙌🏻-
