Flamingo by brings a lift of colour that feels joyful without being loud - a warm backdrop that turns the piano into a feature rather than an obligation. Flamingo by UK does exactly that, catching the eye in a way that feels both surprising and completely at ease within the space.

Behind the piano, it brings a warmth that settles in gently. Soft enough to feel familiar, playful enough to add character, bold enough to make you pause for a moment before you sit down to play.

Every panel was placed with intention — tuned to soften the acoustics, to hold the music close, to make this corner feel like somewhere you naturally drift toward.

Not every room starts with obvious potential.
This space once felt more like a waiting room than a place to gather, with a slate-tiled "feature" wall that dominated the room and little connection to how the family actually wanted to live.

Today, it's something entirely different.

A cosy retreat filled with books, family games, and the sound of piano practice drifting through the house. A place to curl up with a favourite story, spend time together, or simply switch off from the day.

Bespoke shelving, integrated lighting and warm timber finishes have transformed the space into a welcoming safe space, while a cleverly incorporated home gym means every corner now works harder for the family who call it home.

The best projects aren't just about changing how a room looks – they're about changing how it feels and how it's used every day.

A room with more than meets the eye.

As part of a full home renovation, we transformed this living room with bespoke floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, a custom sliding library ladder, integrated LED lighting and one very special hidden feature...

Behind the illuminated bookcase sits a concealed room, seamlessly incorporated into the design to create a space that's both practical and memorable.

Finished in carefully selected Farrow & Ball colours and crafted to complement the period character of the property, every detail was designed, built and installed by the Gopherwood team.

It's projects like these that show the difference truly bespoke cabinetry can make.

There’s something special about making a ladder.

Not just the shaping of timber or the rhythm of joinery - but the moment when it finds its place in someone’s home, studio, or library and suddenly the whole room feels complete.

Today, we’re celebrating Jonny – the “father” of Gopherwood – whose passion, care and commitment have shaped not only the beautiful cabinetry we create, but also the values that sit at the heart of our business.

At Gopherwood, we believe great cabinetry is about more than craftsmanship. It’s about creating spaces where people feel safe, comfortable and truly at home. Every project is built with care, helping our growing Gopherwood family of clients create places where memories are made, families gather, and love is felt every day.
