Our Story

Elite Blinds & Curtains is a leading window blind and curtain manufacturer. We offer home consultations with an experienced Sales Representative who will measure, offer advice, show you samples & provide a quotation. Elite Blinds is an established window blind manufacturer with 30 years experience in providing the most appropriate window blind product to the end consumer. We started trading in 1990 at Bridge Street in Lisburn. We have come a very long way from 1990 were the first Elite Blinds Vehicle was a ‘hearing aid’ shade Mercedes Estate car with green and gold signage (fondly known as Betsy to many people in Lisburn!!). Our showroom at Bridge Street Lisburn was the front living room of a 3 storey house with a blazing open fire! We had many a passer-by stop in to warm themselves at the open fire and grab a cup of tea and have a chat! Our ethos has not changed. We are still a family owned business with a friendly and helpful sales approach. Our customers are not just customers, they are part of the wider Elite family.

In 1992, we moved to our present position, The Braniel Hall, Hillhall Road, Lisburn. Until lately, the Braniel Hall site was home to both our factory and showroom, however in 2019, we went on to relocate our factory to the old JC Pattersons building in Lisburn City. This relocation allowed us to extend our current showroom to the full expanse of the Braniel Hall.

We are commonly recognised by our colourful fleet of transportation; 'Bright Yellow and Black vans!' with the most recent addition of the Smart Elite car.

The Elite Blinds & Curtains team pride ourselves in the continuing innovation of our window blind products. Our products are bespoke for each individual customers requirements. We manufacture; vertical blinds, roller blinds, aluminium venetian blinds , solid wooden venetian blinds, pleated blinds (with expertise in the manufacture of pleated blinds for conservatory roofs), roman blinds, curtains (bespoke and supply of ready-made), the new vision blind, new triple shade and new Allusion. All blinds are manufactured locally. We also supply an expansive range of made to measure plantation shutters, skylight blinds, flyscreen's and a range of designer roller and roman blinds. Alongside our interior design range we offer matching cushions, table runners & bed runners to complement your home interior. Our most recent expertise is within the motorisation window covering market, which is becoming increasingly popular due to the integration of home hub security systems.
