McNeice Auto and Plant Works Mcneice auto and plant works is a lisburn based business that provides mechanical and electrical repairs to cars, vans, 4x4's and heavy plant machinery.

We provide a professional mechanical and electrical repair service for all types of vehicles and models of cars,vans,4x4's,light and heavy commercial,tractors and farm machinery,heavy plant machinery and construction equipment,farm and sports quads, strimmers,chainsaws,lawnmowers and ride on mowers. We charge a very keen labour rate of £40 per hour and have a mobile breakdown call out service whic

h covers all of Northern Ireland. Another special service we provide is seized diesel injector removal, in which we have special hydraulic equipment to remove seized injectors from engines. We also provide auto diagnostics, with top of the range equipment we can plug into a vehicle and read and rectify faults within any of the systems, also program in diesel injectors and program in many different sensors.

This BMW 1 had lights on dash, fuel gauge not working and running problems. Again experience suggested it was a voltage problem and sure enough when alternator was tested it was putting out way over 15 volts which is far too much and was afftecting the whole electrical system, it also done damage to the battery. So we fitted a good second hand alternator and a new battery, gave the engine a good service and car is now driving good again with correct voltage.

This Mini One was brought in with clutch pedal problems (vibrating and gear selecting). Experience suggested that it was the release/thrust bearing and pressure plate and of course when we removed the gearbox we found the thrust bearing had collapsed so a new 3 piece clutch kit was fitted and now driving like a dream.

This nice Astra was brought in with engine management light on so a quick plug in of diagnostics showed the exhaust cam shaft sensor, we fitted a good second hand one and light still on so further investigations showed it was the VVT timing sprocket was seized on the spring loaded part of it.... a new genuine one is on order.

This BMW was brought in with the brake warning light on.....we soon found out why....this lame attempt with red crimping...

This BMW was brought in with the brake warning light on.....we soon found out why....this lame attempt with red crimping connector for doing away with the sensor was done wrong and at the body loom side so would need a whole new section of wiring put in so we correctly soldered and looped the wire until we get a new section from a scrap yard.
