𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿

A lot of attention goes to the finished pitch, but this is one of the most important stages of the installation process. The video shows the infill being applied to the surface, a critical step that helps transform the carpet from a newly installed surface into a pitch ready for play.

The infill works its way between the fibres to provide stability, support performance, improve durability and help the surface respond consistently underfoot. Once applied, the pitch undergoes multiple brushing cycles to ensure even distribution across the entire area.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵

Every completed sports surface starts with a simple goal: create a space where people can play, train, compete and improve.

This approx. 10,000m² installation in Ireland brought together multiple stages of work, including shockpad installation, carpet laying, line marking and infill, all working together to create a surface built for everyday use.

We're proud to have played our part in delivering another quality sports facility in Ireland. A sincere thank you to SIS Pitches Ireland for the opportunity to work together on this project. It's always rewarding to contribute to facilities that will be enjoyed by players and communities for years to come.

Two Spaces. One Project.

This Ireland project brought something a bit different, delivering both an indoor and outdoor pitch as part of the same installation.

Two environments with very different demands, but the same expectation when it comes to finish and usability. One built for controlled, all-year access. The other exposed to the elements and constant use.

Seeing both spaces side by side shows how adaptable modern sports surfaces have become, giving players consistent footing and a reliable surface whatever the setting.

Following an unforgettable evening at the Small Business Growth Awards 2026, we’ve taken some time to reflect on what this recognition means for our journey so far, and we’ve shared it in a new blog post.

We recently had the pleasure of attending a ‘Meet the Professionals’ day at Everton Free School, where our Managing Director, Lewis Nickson, and Client Relationship Manager, Tom Stone, spent time speaking with students in small group discussions throughout the day.

The format made for a really engaging and relaxed experience, giving us the opportunity to have honest, down-to-earth conversations about the journey into the industry, the growth of Poly UP, what what life was like growing up.

Rather than focusing purely on careers, the discussions were centred around real-life experiences: how different paths can lead to unexpected opportunities, the challenges we’ve faced along the way, and what it actually takes to build and grow a business.

Events like this are incredibly important because they help break down assumptions about the working world and show young people that there’s no single route to success.

A big thank you to Everton Free School for having us. It was a brilliant day and a great opportunity to play a small part in helping students think about their futures.
