❄️ Lag it before the frost finds it.

The frosts aren't far off, and a burst pipe is one of those jobs you really don't want to deal with in the middle of winter.

A bit of lagging on exposed pipework - outdoor taps, pipes in the loft, anything running through an unheated space - is a cheap bit of prevention that saves a lot of grief later.

🚨 Carbon monoxide - the one that doesn't wait

You can't see it, smell it or taste it - but a faulty gas appliance can leak carbon monoxide into your home without you knowing a thing about it.

A proper annual service checks for exactly this. If it's been a while, or you haven't got a working CO alarm fitted, don't leave it till winter's in full swing. Give us a ring.
