With the risk of sounding like a negative Nelly, this is the time of year that it starts getting dark earlier and earlier.
So, it's probably a good time to get those outdoor lights installed, upgraded, replaced or repaired.

Two external sockets fitted in Furnace. A great solution if you want to add exterior light for the summer, or indeed Christmas (yes, I mentioned Christmas in July, sorry).

Depending on how your culinary skills are, some of your smoke alarms will get a good testing over the Christmas period.
While you're pressing the test button to silence them, take note of the expiration date. This week I replaced a pair that expired over 6 years ago. One was also totally ineffective.
Test them, check the date, replace if needed. It could save your family's life.

Do you need your Oven or Hob replaced?
This is a service I offer (and rather enjoy). So if your oven is past economic repair, dated and in need of upgrading, or you just cant be bothered to clean it, I can replace it for you. While I'm there I'll also test your oven circuit to confirm it's safe and in good condition.
