We completely refreshed this tired front garden, creating a smart, modern and low-maintenance entrance to the property.

Works included:

• Removal of the existing concrete pathway
• Excavation and preparation of the existing garden
• New sub-base installed and compacted
• New porcelain pathway installed leading to the front entrance
• Artificial grass installed to create a clean, low-maintenance finish

Another transformation underway 🧱🏠

We’ve recently completed the first stage of this property renovation, removing the old, deteriorated entrance step walls and completely rebuilding both sides with new brickwork.

The original walls had deteriorating mortar joints and areas of failing brickwork, so both sides were carefully taken down and rebuilt from the ground up, while keeping the original style and character of the entrance.

Next stage ➡️ approximately 100m² of external rendering to completely transform the property, including:

• Front elevation
• Both side elevations
• Extension

We’ll share the finished result once the rendering is complete!

Another project completed by JN Building Services & Property Development Limited, giving this garden a much cleaner, brighter and more modern finish.

The works included:

🔨 Taking up and removing the old existing concrete patio slabs
⛏️ Preparing the areas and installing the new sub-base ready for paving
🏡 Supplying and installing new porcelain paving throughout
🪜 Extending the existing garden steps and finishing them in matching porcelain
🚪 Creating matching porcelain steps to the external doors
🕳️ Installing recessed manhole covers finished with porcelain for a seamless appearance
💧 Neatly working around the existing drainage and rainwater outlets
⚪ Installing decorative stone borders around the paving
🧹 Full clean-down and tidy on completion

The extended porcelain steps, black decorative railings and matching paving have completely changed the appearance of the garden, while the recessed covers and decorative stone borders give everything a clean, detailed finish.

🔥 Another Garden Transformation Completed! 🔥

When we arrived, the previous contractor had installed scalpings as the base for the artificial grass.

Unfortunately, this isn't the correct material for an artificial grass installation and would not have provided the drainage or long-term stability required.
Rather than taking shortcuts, we stripped everything back and completed the job properly from the ground up.

✅ Excavated the existing ground and removed 35 tonnes of unsuitable material
✅ Supplied and installed 35 tonnes of MOT Type 1, fully compacted to create a solid, free-draining foundation
✅ Supplied and installed premium anthracite grey porcelain paving
✅ Finished with jet black porcelain grout for a sleek, contemporary finish
✅ Installed premium artificial grass and decorative stone borders to complete the transformation

✅ Supplied and installed a 4.7m structural goalpost frame and RSJ in accordance with the structural engineer's calculations.
