Lovely mornings work removing this Spruce which had gotten too big for the area.
Safely dismantled and stump left to customers chosen height for putting a bird table on.

Big Cedar stump – gone 🌲➡️🪵

This job involved grinding out the stump of a removed cedar tree. With the right equipment we were able to grind it well below ground level and leave the area clear and usable again.

The result:
✔️ Stump completely removed below surface level
✔️ Area left tidy with grindings taken away

Stump grinding is the best way to properly finish a tree removal and avoid future problems like decay, pests, or obstacles when landscaping.

🌿 A Fresh Start for the Garden 🌿

Today we planted 19 metres of Laurel hedgerow along the boundary of the garden! These young plants might look small now, but over the coming years they’ll grow into a dense, green wall that will provide privacy, shelter for wildlife, and year-round colour.

There’s something really satisfying about putting plants in the ground that will shape the landscape for decades to come. With a bit of care, patience, and plenty of rain (which we’re not short of!), this hedgerow will soon become a beautiful natural boundary.

We’ve just completed a full land clearance—cutting back dense brambles and removing trees to open up the space and bring the land back under control. What was once overgrown is now clear, accessible, and ready for its next chapter.
