Production at our brand new plant is carried out using the most modern equipment and techniques that ensure we achieve the highest standards of quality in every product. With our on

site batching facility and specially designed self compacting concrete mix, developed by our team here in Lockerbie we have created a range of concrete products that are second to none. Our concrete mixture creates an improved surface finish which means that there is a reduction in production times and ultimately a better product for our customer every time we manufacture one of our products. As of the 1st July 2013, it was mandatory for all construction products to be CE Marked due to the Construction Products Regulations (CPR). We have received our CE Marking Accreditation, conforming to BS EN 206 Standard for our ready mix concrete which is used to make our pre-stressed concrete panels in accordance with CE Standards. Both products are supplied under ISO 9001 Quality Assurance.

Not the world’s most glamorous job to explain… but very important nonetheless 👀

These are reinforcement cages being welded up for concrete piles.

The steel reinforcement inside the pile helps add strength and durability once the concrete is poured, allowing the pile to handle heavy loads and tough ground conditions over time 💪

Concrete piles are used as deep foundations, transferring the weight of a structure down into stronger ground below the surface.

In other words: the bit nobody sees doing a very important job.

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes before concrete even reaches site, and this is part of it 👏

Meanwhile the yard looks like organised chaos, the kettle’s been boiled 14 times already, and somebody’s definitely asking “how many are going on that lorry again?” for the third time.
