Very happy to share that our Maida Vale project has received planning approval from Westminster.

Set within the Maida Vale Conservation Area, the proposal carefully adds a contemporary rear extension to a Victorian terrace. We think it balances busy London life with the client brief of opening up the home to the garden, improving daylight, and creating a warm, relaxed living space with a lush, Balinese atmosphere.

Our services include a full renovation with a newly designed extension, interior and landscape design.

The design is about natural materials: timber, planting, sunshine, a green roof, and a stronger connection to the garden.

Forest Gate House stood out to our growing community of over 21.000 architects and creators receiving a stunning 29.998 votes.

This warm, contemporary rear extension and refurbishment in London introduces a thoughtfully curated and low-impact material palette that doesn’t compromise on sustainability.

Forest Gate House named a 2026 ArchDaily Building of the Year Nominee!

We’re delighted to share that Forest Gate House has been nominated for the ArchDaily 2026 Building of the Year Awards in the Houses category.

Now in its 17th year, the ArchDaily Building of the Year Awards are entirely community-driven, shaped by architects and design enthusiasts from around the world. Thousands of projects are published each year, with the public nominating those they believe are advancing architectural thinking and making a meaningful contribution to the built environment.
