The safety net was gone. I found over 50V sitting on every metal surface in this property because the Main Earthing Terminal (MET) was completely disconnected at the supply.

Have you ever felt a shock from a tap or shower?? That “little tingle” in the shower? It’s a critical red flag. 🚿🦷🚩I got called out to an Airbnb where the guests felt a “bite” from the shower mixer. A lot of people would ignore this, but as a specialist, I knew we were looking at a documented fail. 🕵️‍♂️Supply voltage: 239V.
Shower mixer: 18.4V. That’s live current sitting on the metalwork due to a major earthing failure. In a wet environment, this is how a “minor issue” becomes a life threatening situation. ⚡️I thought 18V was the end of it... until I checked the incoming supply. Part 4 tonight is going to be pure madness. 🤯⚡️
