Building with AI | Pascall+Watson x POC in Architecture CIC
Last week, we opened our studio doors to 8 architecture students and graduates from POC in Architecture CIC for our first 'Building with AI' workshop, and it was a reminder of why events like this matter.
Over the past few months, our team has been investing heavily in developing AI workflows across the practice: researching, experimenting, and learning as the technology rapidly evolves. This was an opportunity to share that work with the next generation of architects, people who will shape what our industry becomes.
Alberto Roa led a knowledge-sharing presentation on AI and generative workflows, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the tools and processes we've been developing. This was followed by a Q&A panel discussion with Pavan Birdi, Alexander Dersiley, and Clara Abrão Sachetti, where students asked sharp, thoughtful questions about both the opportunities and the responsibilities these tools bring.
The technology is exciting — but what stood out most was the conversation it sparked. Curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking were in the room in abundance.
A huge thank you to POC in Architecture CIC for making this collaboration possible, to Johannah Fening for organising such a well-run session, and to every student who brought their energy and engagement to the afternoon.
Our industry is evolving. Events like this remind us that its future is still, above all, about people. 🤝
